Love calculator and FLAMES together
Most people play FLAMES and a love calculator separately. Here you get both from one pair of names. Pick the FLAMES tab to see your FLAMES word together with a love percentage, or the By name tab for the classic LOVES letter score on its own.
Worked example: Ali and Sara
Ali and Sara share the letter “a”, so one “a” is crossed out in each name. That leaves l, i from Ali and s, r, a from Sara — five letters. Counting five round F-L-A-M-E-S lands on E, then on M, then S, then L, then A, leaving F for Friends. The love calculator FLAMES result is “Friends”, and the percentage combines that with their LOVES name score.
Love calculator FLAMES tips
- Use the same spelling every time. FLAMES is very sensitive: one extra letter changes the count by one and usually the whole answer.
- Full names or first names? Decide before you start, so nobody can say you changed the rules after seeing “Enemies”.
- Double-check by hand. The order of crossed-out letters is shown under the result, so you can check it on paper.
