Due date if you conceive today
A pregnancy lasts about 266 days (38 weeks) from conception, so if you conceive today, your estimated due date is 266 days from now. The table updates every day:
| If you conceive… | Conception date | Estimated due date |
|---|---|---|
| Today | ||
| Tomorrow | ||
| In 1 week | ||
| In 2 weeks | ||
| In 4 weeks | ||
| In 8 weeks | ||

Getting pregnant today vs. conceiving today
Sex and conception are not always on the same day. Sperm can survive for up to five days, so intercourse today can lead to conception on any of the next few days, when you ovulate. If you have sex today and conceive a few days later, the due date moves later by the same number of days. If you know your cycle, the Ovulation Date Calculator shows when you are most likely to ovulate.
If I’m pregnant now, when will I be due?
If you think you are already pregnant, your due date is counted from the first day of your last period, not from today. Enter that date in the main Due Date Calculator, or use the Conception Due Date Calculator if you know when you conceived.
Planning a birth month
Conceiving in a given month generally means a due date about nine months later. The Conception and Due Date Chart lists due dates for every month.
