How the countdown works
The calculator counts the days from today to the date you choose. Today is not counted and the target date is, so if your event is tomorrow, the answer is 1 day. The count uses your device’s current date, so it updates automatically each day. If the date has already passed, you get the number of days since it instead.
The result also shows the countdown in weeks and days, in months and days, in weekdays (Monday–Friday) and in hours — handy for work deadlines, where weekends do not count.

To count between two dates that are not today, use Days Between Dates. To find the date that is a number of days away, use Days From Date.
