From “I love you” to a love percentage
The I love calculator starts from the oldest love sentence there is. When you type your name and the name of the person you love, the calculator literally builds the sentence “name loves name” and counts every letter in it. The counts are folded together until a single number of 100 or less is left — your I love calculator score.
“I love you” around the world
People have said “I love you” in every language for thousands of years. A few favourites to send with your score:
- Urdu / Hindi: Main tumse pyar karta / karti hoon

Ways to share your result
Press Copy result under your score to copy a short line like “Omar & Hira: 86% love match”, or Share to send the link. Some people send the score as a playful way of saying “I love you” for the first time — a light, low-pressure way to show how you feel.
Why the I love calculator gives two scores
This page offers two tests. By name uses the word LOVES, and True love uses the words TRUE LOVE. Each gives its own percentage, so you can pick whichever one says what you want to hear — after all, it is your “I love you”.
