Free, private and instant
This BMI calculator runs in your browser. Your height, weight and age are not sent to a server or stored, there is no account to create and no limit on how often you use it. The result appears as soon as you press the button, and you can share or print it. The page works on phones, tablets and computers, and the calculation also works without JavaScript.
Tracking your BMI over time
One reading is a snapshot. Checking your BMI every month or two shows the trend, which matters more than any single number. Use the same scale, the same time of day and similar clothing each time. If you are changing your weight on purpose, a steady change of about 0.5–1 kg (1–2 lb) a week is what most health services recommend. Press Copy result under your result to keep a note of each reading.
